German train late!?

2009 07 03 - Day 7 – Poznan

I didn't even think that was possible!

Maybe those organised Germans, who organised me in the right direction in the middle of the night, organised my train to be late... over an hour late! As a result, I missed my connection to Gdansk and I had to wait 5 hours for the next one! (Disclaimer – I don't actually know that it was a German train, just that I got on it in Germany, so nothing against the Germans... they'll probably blame Polish rail anyway).

A Bed to Where?

2009 07 02 - Day 6 – Köln

Travel tip! Make sure you get on the right train!
From Köln I had a bed on a sleeper train to Poznan.
The trains destinations included Copenhagen, Moscow, Warsaw and Prague!
Those of you with a rudimentary knowledge of European geography know that such a route would be crazy and perhaps realise that the train splits in the night...
I had to make sure I got on the right section!
Thankfully, those organised Germans had a very helpful diagram on the platform to help me out.
